Windows XP clients only using Windows Easy Print Driver

I have several clients that use Windows XP SP 3 and are connecting to a new Windows 2008 R2 RDP Server.  Even though the correct drivers are loaded on the server, the XP client only will use the Easy print driver. I have ensured I the correct drivers and updated the RDP client on the PC.

It does not matter if the client printer is local or networked.  All printers use the easy print driver.
