Hi All
I’m currently investigating migrating our 2008 Terminal services farm to a 2012 RDS session based environment.
In all the guides it suggests that I use a Web Access Server and we do not use TS Web Access in our 2008 structure, is this necessary in the 2012 RDS environment?
Currently we have 2008r2 Remote Desktop (vm’s) servers with all required apps installed locally on the VM’s, the users connect to these boxes through a session broker.
Can this be achieved in 2012 without a web access server?
Many thanks
Danny
EDIT:
Currently we have 9 2008r2 Remote Desktop VM's(Terminal Servers) that the users connect to through a session broker. These machines are connected to via a RDP connection from thin clients. We have no need for RemoteApps, just a server 2012 desktop that we can publish to directly.
