Folder redirection permissions setting questions

Hi guys,

we're using roaming profiles and folder redirection in our ad environment,

below is my current ntfs permission setting on the redirected root folder:

administrators-full control-this folder, subfolders and files;

creator owner-full control-subfolders and files only;

users-special(read/append data..)-this folder only;

system-full control-this folder, subfolders and shares;

this permissions work ok for the redirection.

but here is the problem we found:

after user's first login, the username folder is created based on the permissions above, so the user himself now have full control to this own folder, but it's only applied to this folder only.

and we have some applications which will use other accounts, to create some files or folders inside user's redirected folders.

in this situation, user won't be able to view those files.

we can manually set each user's ntfs permissions to apply to "This folder, subfolders and files", this will resolve the problem.

But can we automate the process.??

How to set on the root folder so each user will have this apply to permission on his own folder?

thanks!
