Hi all,
I have a 2012 RDS environment and need to get the Legacy language bar displaying automatically when a user runs Word 2010. I have it running successfully in a desktop session on svr1, but although the languages are set correctly for the published app on svr2, the bar does not display. I cant find any differences between svr1 and svr2 that would explain so it seems to be okay for a desktop session but not for a published app.
The settings I've implemented are:
- used GPO to enable the editing languages under Office 2010\Language settings
- set Keyboard Preload reg keys to enable the keyboard for the languages
- run Set-WinLanguageBarOption –UseLegacyLanguageBar via a powershell script at logon
- set CTF\LangBar SHowstatus setting to 0 (to show floating), also tried 4 for docked
- added HKLM\Software\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run - CTFMON string c:\windows\system32\ctfmon.exe
I suspect this setting does not work for 2012, but cant find much information around this.
Any ideas to get it loading for the published app?
Cheers,
Simon
