If our Windows Server 2008 R2 RDS server fails, does anyone know the default amount of time before the Windows 7 remote desktop clients recognize that they're no longer connected and give the prompt that the remote desktop session has ended? And can that
time period be modified and the prompt suppressed somehow? If possible, what I'd like to happen is the remote desktop client to exit within 10-15 seconds if it can no longer contact the server, and not give the prompt that the session has ended. Is that
possible?
