Hi,
Can anybody confirm this statement from another post:
"The cause of the issue is the RDP for whatever reason can't validate a long certificate chain(1 root and 3 intermediates). So please send us the new CSR we will issue it in a shorter certificate chain(1 root and 1 intermediate)."
I installed the re-issued single-root certificate and all is working now.
I am trying to secure a RDS Host session server using a wildcard certificate. The certificate is valid and is working perfectly on a https site on the same server, so ROOT CA and intermediate CA is trusted. The certificate chain is four levels deep with a root CA and two intermediate CA's. When I enable the certificate on the RDP connection on the server, I get this error when trying to create a RDP connection:
"A revocation check could not be performed for the certificate"
If I click "View certificate", the Certification path is empty and status is "The issuer of this certificate could not be found". If I manually add the root CA and two intermediate CA's to my local computer, everything works fine.
Any idea how to get this to work?
Thanks,
Rasmus Aaen
