RemoteFX USB redirection in Server 2008 R2 RDS - Skype Webcam on thin client to RDS session.

Hello,

We have an end user looking to use Skype webcams on HP T610 thin clients with their 2008 R2 RDS servers. They run Windows Embedded 7 and support RDC 7.1 and RemoteFX according to HP. I found this article dated from 2010 stating that RemoteFX USB redirection is only possible to a WIndows 7 SP1 VM running Hyper-V. Is this still the latest information?

 What are the requirements for RemoteFX USB redirection?

• RemoteFX USB redirection is only available when connecting to a RemoteFX-enabled Windows 7 SP1 virtual machine (VM) running on a RemoteFX-enabled Remote Desktop Virtualization Host server. For information about the requirements for RemoteFX, see Beta testing RemoteFX in Service Pack 1.
• RemoteFX USB redirection is not available for connections to a Remote Desktop Session Host server.
