How to prevent GPO User Config changes from applying to the Administrative login to the 2008 RD Session Host server

I had been doing all my GPO from User Settings for Terminal Server Policy on the SBS DC and it did not have an settings for the Administrative Templates for User Configuration... so had to go to user configuration/administrative templates for further user virtual desktop lockdown, so.....

Question: I do most of my administration of this 2008 RD Session Host server via remote RDP, logging in locally as "administrator" of the machine, [as logging in as an SBS DC user with domain administrator rights didn't let me have real admin control]. How do I keep changes to "user configuration/administrative templates/remove and prevent access to shutdown...." and the like from applying to my remote RDP Administrative access to the RD Session Host server?
