I have a new RemoteApp server setup which is working pretty well for the most part. But there is one problem that I have no idea how to correct.
The clients that connect are all running Windows 8 Pro and when they launch the first app after logging into the site they get a a small popup box with a title of Personalizatio and an error that says "This theme can't be appliced to the desktop. Try clicking a different theme." The only button on the popup box with this message is Close.
It doesn't matter which program is first selected. There are Microsoft Office programs as well as other vendor programs. These programs have been run succesffully without any error when installed on the PCs and when run from a different Remote Desktop server in an RD session.
The server is running Windows Server 2012 Datacenter so I would think that would be compatible with Windows 8.
Anyone have any idea about this theme error and what to do about it?
