Hello All,
I am new to Windows Server 2008 R2, so please bear with me. I am having a little trouble understanding how to create a default user profile so all of my users get the same desktop icons and settings when logging into the server. I already have a Windows 2008 R2 Terminal Server in place, and just about ready to go. My question is, how do I do this? How do I create the default profile so everyone that logs in gets the same style of desktop and icons?
My goal is to have the user login and get a desktop with My Computer, Network, Documents, IE, Office shortcuts, and shortcuts to various other applications. Have the server manager icon removed from the taskbar, along with the powershell icon. Have the classic start menu instead of the orb.

But I am unsure why I need an answer file, and what needs to be in the answer file.
