We're seeing an issue where some computers are unable to make RDP connections through a Barracuda VPN. For the record this is the message: "Because of an error in data encryption, this session will end. Please try connecting to the remote computer again." Local RDP connections are working, so it appears related to the VPN itself.
Early signs point to the problem possibly being isolated to Win 7 SP1 machines with RDC 8.0 installed. So to test that, I had planned to remove RDC 8.0 on one such machine and see if it was then able to connect. But neither KB2592687 nor KB2574819 are in the Installed Updates list. (It's also not in Programs and Features, but I'd not expect to see it there anyway.) RDC 8.0 is definitely installed.
Is there no way to remove these updates?
