Remote Desktop into Server 2008 issues

I have a 2003 Domain that I just added a 2008 R2 server to.  The 2008 server is joined to the domain but doesn't have any roles, its just for running SQL Server.  I cannot seem to get remote desktop working.  I only want to login for administrative puposes so I don't need a license server.  With that said...

If I try to login with one of the Windows 7 Pro desktops on the domain I get

->The remote session was disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop License Servers available to provide a license.

After some searching I found I had to start the client with the /Admin switch.

Now I get this error

->The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship.

I saw an article about duplicate SPN's so I looked.  There weren't any.  The server is not hosting AD.  I thought about trying to do that and use DCPromo but when I run Adprep/forestprep I get a DLL error.

Any ideas?  Thank you in advance.

Bill
