How many people are thinking of provisioning a Full Desktop through RDS on 2012?
We provide 500+ users with a full desktop on 2008 R2, using Thin Clients on the office desks. We have done this since Windows 2000.
It "feels" like providing a full desktop is not what Microsoft want you to do. Using VDI or RemoteApp "feel" to be getting more attention. Plus new things like Office 365 have odd license caveats which stop its use on RDSH (retail key
rather than volume key)
Does anyone agree? Anyone using 2012 for Full Desktops already? There's is lots of good new stuff in there to use, but no Remote Control/shadowing stopped our trial.
I'm just looking for opinions please?
