We have a 2012 server deployed with RDS and RDWeb. Normal PC clients can connect to the web page, sign in, and can run the published programs. We tested an iPad, an android phone, and a windows 8 phone. They all can sign in but can't run the published application.
The application published is run via a .bat file. The bat file maps a drive then runs that program from that drive. This is the only way we have been able to make it work for the PCs at least.
We would really rather not have everyone just RDP into the server desktop and run the program that way.
The question I have is, will a Surface, Android tablet or iPad ever work this way? If so, what other apps are needed or will a surface be able to do this natively?
Thanks.
