I spent all morning troubleshooting a connection problem with a client. It turned out that the TS Gateway message prompted to users on first login was the culprit or rather the option to NOT display the message again.
When "Do not ask again..." is select a user entry is written in registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Gateway\Messages
If the entry was present the client was unable to login again, when I deleted the entry and only accepted the terms but skipped the "Do not ask again..." the user is able to login again and again.
Now I need to troubleshoot why this is happening. Any ideas?
Client: Windows 8.1
