I have a wink28 r2 standard remote desktop services server.
I have the following enabled:
-end a disconnected session: 1 minute
-idle session limit: 3 hours
-when a session limit is reached or connection is broken: end session
Sometimes, I see disconnected sessions on the terminal server for over 8hrs. Why aren't the sessions getted logged of? I am using RemoteApp.
How can I see what program the session is running so I can see why the disconnected session isn't getting logged off? I tried to Remote Control a disconnected RemoteApp session but I can't. I get this message "Can't remote control Session because Remote control is disabled on that Session." If the session is active, I can remote control the RemoteApp session.
How can I check to see if there's a visible window in the disconnected RemoteApp session?
1. A RemoteApp session remains active as long as there is at least one visible or active window in that session.
- The active window could be in any of the window states (minimized, maximized or restored).
- The active window could belong to an application that was either started directly or indirectly as a RemoteApp program.
